Khabarovsk Women Weave Camouflage Nets for War Effort
In Khabarovsk, a group of dedicated women have come together to support the war effort. They've spent their free time weaving camouflage nets for military equipment, with the first batch of 50 already in use by fighters.
The initiative began when the 'Warriors of the Far East' volunteer movement received a request for camouflage nets. Seven women from Beryozovka, a suburb of Khabarovsk, took up the task. They dedicated their evenings, away from work and household chores, to this project. The nets were distributed across the region and have proven effective in concealing military equipment during combat tasks.
Anastasia Smirnova, a reporter at 'Khabarovsk Today', covered the story. Anjelika Shulga, a local resident involved in the project, reported that the society has so far produced 50 camouflage nets, with more planned.
The women of Beryozovka have demonstrated their commitment to supporting the war effort. Their camouflage nets are actively used by fighters, contributing to the safety of military personnel and equipment. The project continues, with plans to produce more camouflage nets to meet the ongoing needs.
