Kim Jong Un inaugurates new Kangdong County Hospital in North Korea
North Korea has officially opened a new hospital in Kangdong County. The completion ceremony took place on November 19, attended by leader Kim Jong Un and other senior officials. The facility marks another addition to the country’s healthcare infrastructure.
The project reached its final stages in late October. On October 30, Kim Jong Un personally inspected the hospital as construction neared completion. His visit highlighted the government’s focus on the facility’s readiness.
The Kangdong County Hospital is now operational. Its opening follows months of construction and a high-profile inspection by the country’s leader. The facility will serve as a key medical center for the region.
