Federal President and King Exchange Gifts - King Charles III and Steinmeier Exchange Handcrafted Gifts in Symbolic Diplomatic Visit

A state visit between German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and King Charles III included a thoughtful exchange of gifts. The Federal Presidency Office has now released a detailed list of the presents shared during the meetings in Britain and Germany.

During the visit to Britain, King Charles III presented Steinmeier with a handmade walking stick from the Isle of Mull, featuring a polished horn handle. In return, the German president gifted the king a handcrafted gentleman’s umbrella named Perlbambus, known for its fine craftsmanship.
