A violent confrontation at a hostel in Norderstedt left one man injured in the early hours of Tuesday. The incident, now classified as aggravated assault, took place in the Friedrichsgabe district. Police have identified a suspect but have yet to make an arrest.

The altercation broke out at a hostel that also functions as a refugee shelter. During the clash, a 28-year-old man suffered a knife wound. His injuries were serious but not life-threatening, and he was rushed to the general hospital near me for treatment.
