Knife attack in Köpenick leaves one man hospitalized after bar dispute
A man was injured in Köpenick following an altercation on Bahnhofstraße early this morning. The victim, aged 37, was taken to a hospital for inpatient treatment after suffering a laceration to his arm.
The incident occurred around 6 a.m. when two men, aged 26 and 37, were involved in a verbal dispute at a bar. The younger man allegedly pulled out a knife and attacked the older man. The suspect, whose identity is known to police, fled the scene.
The investigation is being led by a specialized unit of the Police Directorate 3 (East). Despite extensive searches, no information about a related arrest or wanted person has been found. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
The victim remains in the hospital for further treatment. Police continue to investigate the incident and encourage witnesses to contact them with any information.
