Knifepoint robbery in Duisburg leaves victim shaken as police hunt suspect
Shortly after the incident, the woman went to the Marxloh police station and provided a detailed account of what had happened. According to her statement, she was passing through an archway to reach a garage courtyard when an unknown man demanded she hand over her wallet. The assailant reportedly pushed her against a wall and was holding a knife in his hand. While he searched through her handbag, two children walked past the archway. The suspect then fled in the direction of Krugerstraße.
The fugitive is described as approximately 1.75 meters tall, with dark skin and a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, white sneakers, and a blue face mask.
Criminal Investigation Division 13 has launched an investigation and is appealing for witnesses who may have further information about the suspect.
