Kohima job fair shortlists 74 candidates amid Nagaland’s unemployment push
A one-day job fair in Kohima has shortlisted 74 candidates for various positions. The event, held on 21 November 2025, aimed to tackle unemployment and strengthen workforce development in Nagaland. Over 250 job seekers attended, with seven companies offering more than 500 vacancies across different sectors.
The fair was organised jointly by the Regional Employment Exchange, National Career Service, and Don Bosco Placement Network. Companies such as Reliance Jio, Chilli Breeze, and Talent Acquaintance took part, alongside Apex Motors Dimapur, SBI Life PR Hill Branch, SBI Life Secretariat Branch Kohima, and Kin Ventures.
The job fair successfully connected employers with potential candidates, resulting in 74 shortlisted applicants. With unemployment remaining a pressing issue in Nagaland, such initiatives provide direct opportunities for job seekers. Organisers plan to continue similar events to further support workforce growth.
