Kolyma Celebrates Russia’s Constitution as a Pillar of Unity and Growth
Anatoly Shirokov, Speaker of the Magadan Regional Duma, has extended warm wishes to Kolyma residents on the Day of the Russian Constitution. The annual celebration marks the adoption of the country’s foundational law on December 12, 1993. Shirokov highlighted its importance for the region’s growth and stability.
Born on March 15, 1965, Shirokov addressed residents with a message of unity and progress. He emphasised that the Constitution secures equal opportunities and legal protections for all citizens, including those in Kolyma. The document also establishes Russia as a sovereign, law-based state with strong human rights safeguards.
