Komi Leaders Inspect Syktyvkar District's Progress in Youth, Healthcare Initiatives
Dmitry Bratyenko, the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Komi, and Natalya Yakimova, his Deputy, recently visited Syktyvkar District. Their inspection was part of the national initiatives 'Youth and Children' and 'Long and Active Life', led by Rostislav Goldstein, the Head of the Republic of Komi.
The district, home to 11,606 residents including 2,210 children, has seen significant developments under these initiatives. A new medical building in Vizinga, part of Syktyvkar Central District Hospital, now houses a therapy department, pediatric unit, and emergency services.
Bratyenko and Yakimova inspected several social facilities. These included a secondary school in Vizinga and Special Boarding School No. 11 in Gorkovskaya. They also visited the Republican Kunib Boarding House 'Strength of Life', which cares for 357 residents. Additionally, two paramedic-obstetric stations have been constructed in the district, in Kunib and Bortom, enhancing healthcare access.
Despite the absence of specific details about the leaders of the regional implementation of 'Youth and Children' and 'Long Live and Active' initiatives, the visit by Bratyenko and Yakimova highlights the progress made in Syktyvkar District. The new medical facilities and social services demonstrate the commitment to improving the lives of residents, particularly children.
