Komi Republic Honors Top Students with First Adult Passports on Russia Day
Twenty-seven students from across the Komi Republic have received their first adult passports in a special ceremony. The event recognised their achievements in academics, arts, sports, and community work. Officials presented the documents during a national holiday.
The passports were handed out on June 12, marking Russia Day. Dmitry Bratyenko, the head of Komi’s government, led the ceremony. He awarded the documents to students from different districts in the region.
The ceremony highlighted the students’ dedication and success in various areas. Each recipient now holds an official adult ID, marking a new stage in their lives. The event also underscored the region’s commitment to recognizing young talent.
