Komi Republic Unveils Dazzling Winter Festival Lineup for 2024
The Komi Republic is preparing for a festive winter season with new events and celebrations. Rostislav Goldstein, the region’s head, has called for a lively holiday atmosphere across all municipalities. Plans include concerts, fairs, and special support for vulnerable families.
A highlight of the season will be the first-ever winter festival, Ködyd-Fest, launching in December. Alongside this, Syktyvkar will host gala performances by the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theaters. The Komi Republic State Opera and Ballet Theater will also stage The Nutcracker for local audiences.
The Komi Republic has organised a wide range of cultural and charitable events for the winter holidays. Gifts, performances, and exhibitions will run alongside community celebrations. Authorities aim to make the season bright for all residents, particularly those in need.
