Komi Republic’s Heartfelt Aid Reaches Kherson’s Youth Amid Crisis
Residents of Syktyvkar and the Komi Republic have shown their support for Kherson's young people, contributing to a humanitarian aid effort. The initiative was led by employees of the Komi Republican Perinatal Center and involved various organizations and individuals.
The aid drive saw contributions from staff at the Central Library in Vylgort and anonymous residents of Syktyvkar. The humanitarian mission was greatly appreciated by those in Kherson, with Marina Tipteva, commander of the Chernomorets youth military unit, conveying thanks on behalf of the young people.
Gorky School in Kherson Oblast's Kalanchak District was one of the beneficiaries, receiving 35 boxes of school supplies from the Republic of Komi. Teachers and students at the school expressed their gratitude to the people of the Republic of Komi for their generous donation.
The effort involved various groups across the Komi Republic. Second- and fourth-grade students from Nivshera, Kortkeros District, prepared letters and school supplies for shipment. Volunteers from Ust-Vymsky District, led by Aleksandra Sivkova, also played a significant role in collecting supplies.
The humanitarian aid mission was made possible through the collective efforts of many individuals and organizations in the Komi Republic. Their contributions, from school supplies to transportation assistance, have been greatly appreciated by those in Kherson, particularly the young people and educators at Gorky School.
