Komi’s ‘A Strong Calling’ Program Turns Veterans Into Entrepreneurs by 2025
The 'A Strong Calling' entrepreneurship program has kicked off in the Republic of Komi. It's designed for participants of the special military operation and their families, aiming to foster entrepreneurial skills and recognize business as a path to self-realization. The program is developed by the My Business Center and is part of the national project 'An Effective and Competitive Economy'.
The program, running until November 14, 2025, is open to over 25 participants who can join from anywhere in the republic through online training. Speakers include practicing entrepreneurs, startup and business development experts, and representatives from the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Republic of Komi. Key topics covered include market analysis, developing and testing a business idea, marketing and sales strategies, and leveraging modern technologies.
Participants will receive expert support, including one-on-one consultations, personalized feedback, and actionable recommendations. They will also hear success stories from local entrepreneurs, including veterans of the special military operation who have launched and grown their businesses in Komi. The initiative is listed among the programs selected by Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development to foster entrepreneurial competencies.
