Komi's Best Mentorship Practices and Top Mentors Honored in Regional Contest
The Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Republic of Komi recently organized a contest titled 'Best Mentorship Practices and Top Mentors of the Republic of Komi'. The contest, aligning with the national project 'Human Resources for the Economy', aimed to identify and promote innovative mentorship practices, recognize outstanding mentors, and honor significant contributors to mentorship development.
A total of 28 applications were submitted from 16 organizations. The contest was divided into two categories: Best Mentorship Practice in Non-Production Organizations and Best Mentorship Practice in Industrial Organizations. In the non-production sector, Municipal Preschool Educational Institution 'Kindergarten No. 55 (Combined Type)' won 1st place for its outstanding mentorship practices. Meanwhile, LUKOIL-Ukhtaneftepererabotka LLC took the top spot in the industrial sector. In the mentors' category, Yury Anatolyevich Pugin, a 5th-grade Process Equipment Repair Fitter at LUKOIL-Ukhtaneftepererabotka LLC, was named Top Mentor in the Republic of Komi (Industrial Sector). Radik Khamitovich Turenbekov, Deputy Director of Secondary School No. 40, won the same title in the non-production sector. Additionally, Leonid Rossol of the Republic of Komi’s State Budgetary Institution 'Territorial Disaster Medicine Center of the Republic of Komi' was recognized with a letter of appreciation for his active mentorship in healthcare.
Winners and runners-up in both categories will receive diplomas, while top mentors in each sector will receive cash prizes from the Government of the Republic of Komi. The contest has successfully highlighted and rewarded innovative mentorship practices and exceptional mentors across various sectors in the Republic of Komi.
