Komi’s budget proposals win State Duma backing after high-level Zoom talks
A significant working meeting took place between Rostislav Goldshtein, the head of the Republic of Komi, and Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of the State Duma. Goldshtein presented a detailed legislative proposal, officially titled the 'Federal Law Proposal on Amendments to the Federal Budget for 2026–2028 in Connection with the Addressing of Socioeconomic Issues in the Republic of Komi.'
Volodin and the State Duma agreed to consider this proposal, demonstrating their commitment to supporting the Republic of Komi's development. Goldshtein expressed his gratitude for this support and confidence in resolving Komi's development issues through constructive dialogue.
The Republic of Komi is currently finalizing its regional budget for the next three-year period, with efforts focused on ensuring efficient spending.
