Komi’s elite leadership program welcomes 31 new strategic minds for 2024
The federal reserve training program in Komi recently concluded its latest intake, with 31 winners joining a three-year program focused on strategic management and lean governance. Maxim Semenov, head of the Komi leader’s administration, expressed confidence in their future success. Yevgenia Onishchenko, a program graduate, advised new participants to value mentors' expertise and learn from them.
The program, running since 2008, has seen 329 participants to date, with 50 graduates now heading state and municipal authorities or working at the federal level. The opening intensive program included team-building workshops, a course on pressing governance issues, and a cultural tour of the Republic of Komi. Participants will defend individual projects evaluated for innovation and social impact on Komi’s development. Andrei Klimushev, a 2019–2022 alumnus, encouraged participants to turn challenges into solvable tasks. The event concluded with the competition winners performing the federal reserve’s anthem and taking a ceremonial oath.
