Komsomolsk-on-Amur Debuts Festival for Young Families and Students

Komsomolsk-on-Amur is hosting its first-ever festival for student families and young people. The event, called Like Parent, Like Child, is taking place at Komsomolsk-on-Amur State University. Organisers secured funding through a grant from Russia’s Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).

The festival kicked off with a packed schedule. On the opening day, attendees joined debates on Family: A Modern Perspective, a research conference on family dynamics, and a workshop titled The Apple of Discord, focused on resolving conflicts.

The event marks the first time Komsomolsk-on-Amur has hosted a festival specifically for student families. With Rosmolodezh’s backing, the programme aims to address real-life challenges faced by young couples and parents. Talks and workshops will continue throughout the festival’s run.
