KPMG & ACCA Team Up to Boost Vietnam's International Financial Centre

KPMG Vietnam and Cambodia's Chairman and CEO, Warrick Cleine MBE, has joined forces with ACCA's Helen Brand to boost Vietnam's International Financial Centre (IFC) development. The collaboration, signed in London, aims to share global expertise and resources to enhance regulatory frameworks and operational capabilities.

Cleine, who previously held leadership roles at KPMG in the UK, expressed his belief in the collaboration's potential to contribute to Vietnam's IFC ambitions. The agreement, signed during the Vietnam-UK High-level Forum on Economy with General Secretary To Lam present, will see KPMG and ACCA work together to support regulatory bodies in Vietnam.

Helen Brand, ACCA's chief executive, is honoured to be part of this nationally strategic initiative. She looks forward to empowering the local finance and accounting community by promoting international financial standards.

The MoU, signed on October 30, marks the beginning of a significant partnership. Both KPMG and ACCA are committed to supporting Vietnam's IFC development, aligning with the country's vision to strengthen its financial sector and attract more international investment.
