Krasnodar Parliament Approves Budget Changes Focusing on Social Support and Development
The Krasnodar Parliament's 68th session, chaired by Yury Burlachko, saw significant budget changes that will impact regional agencies, social services, and infrastructure. Despite economic slowdowns, Krasnodar's budget remains focused on development and social security.
The session's key agenda item was a draft law amending the regional budget. This included increased spending on social security, with more funds allocated for preschool teacher wages, housing subsidies, medication provisions, and child allowances. All parliamentary factions and deputies unanimously backed these budget amendments.
Governor Veniamin Kondratyev attended the session, expressing his commitment to fulfilling all social security obligations to the people of Krasnodar. The amended budget projects total revenue in 2025 to exceed 510 billion rubles, with expenditures set at nearly 577 billion rubles. Tax and non-tax revenues are projected to reach 440.9 billion rubles in 2025, an increase of 16.6 billion rubles over 2024.
