Krasnodar Region Doubles Support for Large Families in 2025
Krasnodar Territory, Russia, has significantly boosted support for large families in recent years. Governor Veniamin Kondratyev has prioritised this cause, leading to substantial improvements in services and allocations. The regional maternal capital program has seen notable enhancements. The processing time for notifications has been slashed to 15 working days, effective April 2025. The number of required documents has also been reduced, making the process more efficient. The regional maternal capital payment stands at 161,000 rubles. This substantial sum can be utilised for housing, education, or medical rehabilitation, providing much-needed support to large families. In 2025 alone, over 4,500 large families have benefited from this program. The Krasnodar Territory Government has allocated a whopping 45 billion rubles to support large families this year. This commitment reflects Governor Kondratyev's pledge to make supporting large families a top priority. The number of large families in the region has nearly doubled in the past decade, currently standing at 95,000 families raising over 305,000 children. With over 20 social support measures now available, Krasnodar Territory is creating a comprehensive safety net for large families. Despite the lack of information about an individual driving this progress, the collective effort is undeniably making a significant difference in the lives of thousands of families.
