Krasnodar Residents Shiver as Heating Season's Delayed Start Approaches
Residents of Krasnodar have been feeling the chill in their homes, with some complaining about cold temperatures. While a few houses have already started heating, the general heating for all consumers is yet to begin.
The city's heating system is currently running in minimum mode due to temperatures not meeting the required parameters. Some houses, including those with individual heating points or connected to social facilities, have started heating. However, many residents have expressed their discomfort with the cold temperatures in their apartments.
The general heating for all consumers is set to begin if the average daily temperature drops below 8°C for five consecutive days. The heating is prioritized for schools, kindergartens, and hospitals before residential buildings. The heating system's readiness is checked by heat inspection before permitting heating in a house. The supply of heating is currently based on requests from managing companies.
Meanwhile, in the foothill part of Sochi, the heating season will begin earlier than planned, starting on October 20. In Krasnodar, residents await the general heating to begin, hoping for warmer homes as the weather continues to cool.
