Krasnodar Territory protects four new cultural heritage landmarks from wartime and rural history
Four new historical landmarks in Krasnodar Territory have been officially recognized as cultural heritage sites. The additions highlight the region’s deep ties to the Great Patriotic War and its agricultural past. Among the newly listed sites are memorials, military graves, and even a vintage tractor.
Over the past five years, more than 400 architectural, historical, and archaeological sites in Krasnodar Territory have been added to the regional register. This year alone, 35 landmarks from the area were included in Russia’s unified register of cultural heritage sites.
The four latest additions bring the total number of protected cultural sites in Krasnodar Territory to over 400 in the last five years. These landmarks now receive official recognition and preservation efforts. The region’s connection to wartime history and rural heritage remains a key focus of conservation work.
