Krasnodar's Garage Amnesty: 9,862 Applications, 4,408 Approved
Krasnodar, a leading region in Kuban, has been actively implementing garage amnesty. Sergei Bolodin, chairing the working group meeting, recommended continued efforts to identify unregistered garages and assist residents.
Since January 2022, Krasnodar has received 9,862 applications for garage amnesty. The ZSK, chaired by Bolodin, reviewed the process and proposed changes to relevant legislation based on practical experience. Krasnodar's success is due to a legal mechanism established by Krasnodar Krai Law No. 4505-KZ, which allows for the identification and assistance of unregistered garage users. Federal law No. 79-FZ further supports this process by enabling local authorities to help citizens acquire rights to unregistered garages and their land. As of now, 4,408 decisions, 2,985 refusals, and 2,469 returns have been issued regarding these applications.
Krasnodar's proactive approach to garage amnesty has resulted in significant progress. With Bolodin's guidance and the support of relevant laws, the region continues to assist residents and streamline the amnesty process.
