Krasnodar's 'Heroes of the Fatherland' Park Opens Soon
Krasnodar Krai's 'Participatory Budgeting' initiative has selected 164 projects for development in 2025, with 40 already completed. The program focuses on renovating parks, playgrounds, and sports facilities, with proposals submitted by local residents and funding allocated by municipal authorities. One such project, the 'Heroes of the Fatherland' Park in Krasnodar, is set to open by December 9.
The park's revitalization includes paved walkways, new lighting, and benches, transforming it into a focal point for leisure and remembrance in the community of over 5,000 people. It now features a memorial honoring participants in the special military operation and portraits of local residents who gave their lives for their country. The project was organized by the local community administration and funded by state grants.
In Kislakovskaya stanitsa, the 'Memory of Heroes' Park has already been revitalized, with improvements completed. The initiative has earmarked 1 billion rubles for these projects in 2025, ensuring the completion of the remaining 124 projects by the end of the year.
The 'Participatory Budgeting' initiative is transforming public spaces across Krasnodar Krai, with parks and facilities becoming hubs for both leisure and remembrance. The 'Heroes of the Fatherland' Park in Krasnodar is set to open soon, joining the completed project in Kislakovskaya stanitsa, and further improvements are planned for the rest of the year.
