Krasnodar’s new 3 km road opens December 15, boosting access to elite boarding school
A new 3 km section of Starokubanskaya Street in Krasnodar will open to drivers on December 15. The road connects Novaya and Voronezhskaya streets, improving access to key areas. It also serves the recently opened Krasnodar Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum Boarding School for gifted students.
The newly built stretch measures roughly 3 kilometres in length. It includes four to five lanes, varying between 14 and 17 metres wide. Alongside the main carriageway, the project features sidewalks, a dedicated bike lane, and a stormwater drainage system.
The opening of this road section follows the launch of the Krasnodar Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum School. Residents, visitors, and students will now have better transport links to the School and nearby facilities. The new infrastructure also supports future development in the surrounding district.
