Krasnoyarsk secures $4B for Norilsk–Dudinka road and utility upgrades
Russia’s Krasnoyarsk Territory has secured 4 billion rubles in federal funding for key infrastructure upgrades. The money will target road repairs and utility improvements in the Norilsk–Dudinka area. Two major projects are set to begin in 2025.
The first project will overhaul the road leading to Norilsk’s airport. Residents have long criticised its poor state. The upgrades include full repairs, new street lighting, and a modern information system.
Construction on the airport road and Dudinka’s utilities will start in 2025. The 4 billion ruble investment covers repairs, lighting, and sewer upgrades. Once complete, the projects should address long-standing issues in the Norilsk–Dudinka area.
