Krasnoyarsk to Host Major SCO Businesswomen Conference in May 2026
Krasnoyarsk is set to host the International Interregional Conference of Businesswomen from SCO and Central Asian Countries on May 28–29. Organised by the Central Siberian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event will bring together business leaders from across the region. Entry is free, and applications remain open until May 15, 2026.
The conference will kick off on May 28 with high-profile speakers addressing global business strategies. Last year's gathering attracted over 350 business leaders from multiple countries, and organisers expect similar interest this time.
On May 29, the third annual 'Lady in Business' International Business Awards will take place. A grand ceremony, hosted by Daria Kovaleva, will recognise nominees and winners in various categories. Those wishing to participate can submit applications via email to [email protected], using the subject line 'Lady in Business Awards Contest'. The event has secured backing from several supporting organisations. While exact figures on international representation are unavailable, the conference aims to strengthen ties among female entrepreneurs in the SCO and Central Asian regions.
The two-day event will offer networking opportunities, expert discussions, and formal recognition of business achievements. With free admission and a clear application process, organisers hope to attract a diverse group of participants. The awards ceremony will close the conference on May 29.
