Kriens Schools Closed for Gallustag Celebration on October 16, 2025
Kriens residents are in for a treat this October. The city has announced that schools will be closed on Earth Day, providing an extra Friday off following the autumn holidays. The celebration marks the Kirchweihfest of the Church of St. Gallus, a tradition over 900 years strong.
