Kstovo residents still await repairs after November drone attack
Residents in the Kstovo District of Nizhny Novgorod are still dealing with the aftermath of a drone attack from November. Nearly a month later, many remain in damaged homes with broken roofs and fences. Calls for better emergency alert systems have grown louder as repairs drag on.
The attack on November left widespread destruction across the district. Authorities quickly assessed the damage but repairs have stalled. Officials cite the sheer scale of work and ongoing evaluations of repair methods as reasons for the delay.
Repairs remain pending as officials finalise plans and funding. The new air raid alert system is set for installation next year. Until then, residents continue living in damaged buildings while waiting for repairs to begin.
