Kuban Cossack Host Marks Anniversary with Parade, Honours, and Youth Joining
A solemn parade marked the anniversary of the Kuban Cossack Host's establishment. Governor Veniamin Kondratyev sent a festive greeting, praising Cossacks' contributions and traditions. Awards honoured active Cossacks involved in maintaining public order and reviving traditions.
The parade, attended by Deputy Mayor Vadim Snegirev, military operation veterans, Cossack patrol members, cadets, students, and clergy, celebrated the anniversary. Kondratyev's message highlighted the importance of preserving Cossack cultural and spiritual values for strengthening civil society in Russia.
Several dozen students from Sochi educational institutions joined the Kuban Cossack Youth Union, and around ten joined the district Cossack society, demonstrating the host's enduring appeal to younger generations.
