Kühlungsborn businesses hit by vandalism with extremist graffiti overnight
A sports club and a supermarket in Kühlungsborn were targeted by vandals overnight. Between 6:00 p.m. on January 17 and 7:00 a.m. on January 18, the graffiti featured slogans like 'ACAB' and 'FCH', along with banned anti-constitutional symbols. Authorities confirmed the markings appeared on the exterior walls of a local sports club and a discount supermarket. Police have launched a criminal investigation into the incident, focusing on charges of property damage and the display of unconstitutional symbols. So far, no suspects have been identified in connection with the vandalism. The affected businesses reported the damage early on January 18. Clean-up efforts are underway, though the financial impact remains at approximately €4,000.
