Kuwait and GE Vernova celebrate 10 years of energy innovation and workforce growth
Kuwait has marked a decade of partnership with GE Vernova as the Technology Center in the country celebrates its 10th anniversary. The facility, the first of its kind outside the US, plays a key role in supporting Kuwait’s national energy grid with advanced control systems. The anniversary event brought together high-ranking figures, including the Minister of Commerce and Industry and the Director General of KDIPA. Joseph Anis, Vice President of GE Vernova and CEO for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, showcased the center’s achievements and its collaboration with government bodies. He also emphasised its role in training future leaders in modern energy technologies.
The center’s work reflects Kuwait’s strategy to modernise its energy sector and build a skilled workforce. Its ongoing projects and training initiatives continue to support the country’s long-term economic and industrial ambitions.
