Kuwait freezes new event tent permits amid security concerns
Kuwait Municipality has halted the issuance of new permits for event tents across the country. The decision follows a directive from the Ministry of Interior and applies until further notice.
The suspension comes as a precautionary move in response to current regional and local conditions. Authorities have not specified the exact nature of these circumstances but emphasised the need for heightened vigilance.
Applicants with pending requests have been asked to assist inspection teams during this period. No new licences will be granted until the municipality lifts the restriction.
The measure aligns with official guidelines aimed at ensuring public safety. Those affected by the suspension must comply with inspections while awaiting further updates. The ban remains in place indefinitely for now.
