Kuwait, Germany Explore New Trade Partnerships at Berlin Economic Forum
The Embassy of Kuwait in Germany recently hosted an economic forum in Berlin, bringing together 34 German companies and the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA). The event, held in collaboration with German organization NOMOV, aimed to explore new avenues for cooperation and partnership between Kuwait and Germany.
Kuwait's Ambassador to Germany, H.E. Reem Al-Khaled, emphasized the significance of the forum, stating it would enhance economic collaboration and expand trade opportunities. The forum reinforced Kuwait's strategic goal of becoming a regional hub for trade and investment and strengthening ties with European partners.
Bashayer Al-Osaimi, Head of Projects and Incentives Department at KDIPA, gave a presentation on Kuwait's investment environment. The event reflected Kuwait's continued commitment to promoting international partnerships and attracting foreign investment to support economic diversification and sustainable growth. Ambassador Al-Khaled also noted Kuwait's eagerness to host German companies at the 9th Gulf-Europe Business Forum scheduled in Kuwait next November.
