Kuwait honors firefighters' bravery on International Firefighters' Day

On International Firefighters' Day, Major General Talal Al-Roumi, Chief of Kuwait Fire Force (KFF), honoured the dedication of firefighters across the country. He recognised their vital role in protecting lives and property while emphasising the values that drive their service.

Al-Roumi praised firefighters for their strong sense of responsibility and unwavering commitment to duty. He highlighted how their high readiness and rapid response serve as the first line of defence in emergencies.

He underscored the importance of discipline, safety, and teamwork in ensuring effective mission execution. These principles, he noted, reflect the advanced efficiency and professionalism of Kuwait’s fire services. The chief also stressed that adherence to instructions and a willingness to sacrifice for the country remain core to their performance. His remarks reinforced the critical role firefighters play in maintaining public safety. In closing, Al-Roumi prayed for the continued security and stability of Kuwait under the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. He also wished for the safety and success of all firefighters in their duties.

The tribute comes as part of global observances marking International Firefighters' Day. Al-Roumi’s words reaffirm the essential contributions of firefighters in safeguarding communities. Their readiness and professionalism remain central to Kuwait’s emergency response capabilities.
