Kuwait’s National Guard tests crisis response in ‘Evacuation 9’ drill
The National Guard recently conducted a major emergency response exercise, 'Evacuation 9', in collaboration with the Kuwait Oil Company and the Ministry of Interior. The drill aimed to ensure operational readiness and coordination among various entities.
The exercise, carried out by the Fifth Facilities Protection Battalion of the Second Protection Brigade, took place at the Al-Maqaw'a North site. It involved the Fifth Security Protection Unit of the Second Security Brigade and was executed under the supervision of Reinforcement Commander Brigadier-General Abdullah Saleh Abdullah and Security Affairs Commander Brigadier-General Ahmed Mutlaq Jarman.
Brigadier General Abdullah commended the efforts of all participants, highlighting the high level of efficiency and professionalism demonstrated in handling potential crises. He praised the commitment of the forces in ensuring the success of the exercise. The identity of the Minister of the Interior involved remains unknown.
The National Guard remains dedicated to conducting such exercises to strengthen its preparedness and enhance coordination with partner institutions. The 'Evacuation 9' drill is a testament to this commitment, ensuring that all entities are operationally ready to respond effectively to emergencies.
