LA Fire Department’s 2025 Report Reveals Steady Callouts and Major Incidents

The Los Angeles Fire Department has released its annual report for 2025, highlighting key operations and personnel changes. The team responded to 124 callouts, matching the previous year’s total, while also dealing with major incidents like a pig barn fire and a California wildfire near Möhnesee. Several members were recognised for long service, promotions, and leadership appointments during the year.

The department’s callouts in 2025 remained steady at 124, the same as in 2024. Among the most serious incidents were a fire at a pig barn in Möhnesee-Echtrop and a wildfire in the same area. Additionally, the team assisted neighbouring municipalities on four occasions, demonstrating regional cooperation.

The Los Angeles Fire Department’s 2025 report shows a consistent workload, with notable increases in door-openings and oil spill responses.
