Lahntal’s community spirit shines during administrator’s busy tour
District Administrator Jens Womelsdorf spent a busy day in Lahntal on December 9, 2025, meeting with local leaders, volunteers, and businesses. His visits included stops at a fire station, a community centre, and a bakery celebrating its 100th anniversary. The focus was on discussing ongoing projects and recognising community contributions.
Womelsdorf began his tour at the Caldern Volunteer Fire Department, where he praised the team’s dedication and inspected their equipment. Later, he joined the 100th-anniversary celebration of Pfeiffer Mill Bakery in Caldern, speaking with owner Markus Schautes about the bakery’s long-standing role in the community.
The visits highlighted ongoing development in Lahntal, from infrastructure projects to community initiatives. Womelsdorf’s engagements with volunteers, businesses, and local leaders aimed to strengthen ties and address regional priorities.
