Lamitan’s Rose Caravan delivers free essentials to 45 villages in record outreach

Hundreds of residents in Lamitan City received free services during the Reaching Out Service Everyone (Rose) Caravan on 18 November 2025. The event, held in Lo-ok village, marked Mayor Roderick Furigay’s 63rd birthday and aimed to bring essential aid directly to communities across the city.

The Rose Caravan has now visited all 45 villages in Lamitan City, offering a wide range of services to thousands of locals. Residents received medical and dental check-ups, free eyeglasses, and health screenings. Seedlings, hot arroz caldo, slippers, and school supplies were also distributed to attendees.

The event provided immediate support to residents from seven villages in Lamitan City. With its ongoing expansion, the Rose Caravan ensures that essential services remain accessible to all communities. The program’s success has been acknowledged at both regional and national levels.
