Landshut bids farewell to Norbert Hoffmann after 15 years of service
Norbert Hoffmann has left the Landshut city council after 15 years of service. His departure follows a long career that began in 2010 when he first replaced Claudia Heinzel (FDP). Recently, Mayor Norbert Putz honoured him with a bottle of wine and a traditional Bavarian wreath for his dedication.
Hoffmann joined the council on December 17, 2010, as an FDP representative. He remained with the party for 23 years before switching to Zukunft Landshut in June 2020. However, by May of that year, he had already left the FDP’s parliamentary group.
Hoffmann’s exit closes a chapter for the Landshut city council. His decision to stay non-affiliated limited his committee roles, but his contributions remained steady. The council now moves forward without one of its longest-serving members.
