Landshut honors decades of loyalty at City Hall celebration for employees

Landshut's Mayor Alexander Putz hosted a celebration at City Hall Bernlochner to honor employees marking 25 and 40 years of service. The main event saw the mayor praise the unity and dedication of city employees, with Second Mayor Dr. Thomas Haslinger, Third Mayor Jutta Widmann, and other officials in attendance.

In 1984 and 1999, 67 individuals began their careers with the city of Landshut. Among them were employees from the Internal Administration, Landshut City Works, and the Foundation. These employees were celebrated for their loyalty and commitment to the city.

Mayor Putz thanked each honoree and retiree personally, presenting them with a certificate and a small gift. He also paid tribute to 39 municipal employees who were retiring. The celebration ended on a sociable note with a joint dinner.

The celebration highlighted the dedication and passion of Landshut's employees. Mayor Putz emphasized that working for the municipality is not a given but requires a love for one's profession and home. The event fostered unity and pride among city employees, with officials acknowledging their significant contributions to Landshut.
