Landshut’s Disability Advisory Board unveils bold plans for inclusion
Landshut’s Disability Advisory Board has stepped up efforts to make the city more inclusive. At its latest delegates’ assembly, the group outlined new initiatives to support people with disabilities. The meeting also introduced changes to improve accessibility and public engagement.
The assembly took place in June, following the board’s re-election in May 2023. Since then, ten working meetings have been held, with representatives regularly attending city council sessions. These included discussions in the Building, Transportation, and Social Services & Youth Welfare Committees.
The board continues to push for a more accessible Landshut. Its new consultation hours and updated contact information aim to improve support for residents with disabilities. Further details about the Disability Advisory Board are available at www.ourwebsite/disabilityboard.
