Strohschneider Remains Head of the Young Union in Brandenburg - Laura Strohschneider re-elected to lead Brandenburg’s CDU youth union
Laura Strohschneider has been re-elected as the leader of Brandenburg’s Junge Union, the youth wing of the CDU. She secured 73.49 percent of the vote, confirming her position for another term. The decision comes as the group voices criticism of the party’s pension proposals.
The Junge Union in Brandenburg held its leadership vote over the weekend. Delegates chose Strohschneider, the incumbent chairwoman, to remain in charge. Her strong result—over 73 percent—shows continued support within the organisation.
Strohschneider will now lead the Junge Union in Brandenburg for another term. The organisation’s opposition to the CDU’s pension strategy remains a key issue. Her re-election reflects the group’s confidence in her direction.
