Leaders of Krasnodar fulfilled the dreams of children in the 'Christmas Tree of Wishes' action
Krasnodar has launched its annual Wish Tree charity campaign for the third year in a row. The initiative supports gifted children and the sons and daughters of servicemembers involved in the special military operation. A festive tree, decorated with children’s wish cards, now stands in the foyer of the Municipal Concert Hall.
The campaign kicked off with Mayor Yevgeny Naumov and City Duma Chair Vera Galushko taking part. Both officials selected wish cards to fulfil. Naumov picked the requests of eight-year-old Dobrynya and ten-year-old Adelina.
Galushko chose to grant the wishes of three boys: brothers Ratmir and Leonid, along with their cousin Oleg. The tradition dates back to earlier years, with the first child to have their wish fulfilled in Krasnodar being a boy named Sasha. The decorated tree remains on display, allowing visitors to pick a card and help make a child’s dream come true.
The Wish Tree campaign continues to grow, offering support to children in need. This year’s focus includes gifted youngsters and those with family ties to military personnel. The initiative relies on public participation to bring joy to more children in the region.
