Lena Bridge Construction Progresses: Over 100 Piles Drilled, First Pier Completed

Construction of the Lena Bridge is progressing steadily. The first pier's concrete calculator has been poured, and over 100 piles have been drilled and poured. The superstructure's installation will commence soon on some of the new piers.

The Lena Bridge project, launched a year ago by Yakutia's Head, Aisen Nikolaev, is moving forward. More than 100 piles have been drilled and poured, with about 70 on the left bank and 30 on the right. The concrete of the first pier on the left bank is complete.

The central pier's cofferdam will be submerged after the spring ice breakup next year. Currently, the large-scale assembly of the second cofferdam is underway. Meanwhile, the first cofferdam of the side pier has been assembled. All concrete structures of pier No. 4 are fully ready.

The superstructure's installation will begin on some of the new piers, with nine new piers scheduled for erection by 2026. The first drilled pile was poured on October 17, 2024.

The Lena Bridge construction continues with significant progress. With over 100 piles drilled and poured, and the first pier's concrete completed, the project is on track. The superstructure installation and further pier construction are expected to commence soon, with the bridge's completion targeted for 2026.
