His leadership comes as the organization counts around 1,000 members across the region. The election took place during the JU state conference in Sondershausen, where 79 delegates gathered. Geibert, who has led the group for the past two years, also serves as a member of Thuringia’s state parliament after winning a seat in last year’s elections. With his re-election, Geibert continues to guide the Young Union in Thuringia for another term. The newly elected deputies will assist in managing the group’s activities and strategy. The conference also highlighted the organization’s ongoing engagement with its nearly 1,000 members.
