LG Sinha Visits Kupwara, Assures Justice and Support to Terror Victims
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has been visiting terror victim families in Jammu and Kashmir, most recently in Kupwara on October 15, 2025. He assured them of justice, rehabilitation, and support, following recent initiatives to distribute job appointment letters to affected families in Srinagar and Jammu.
LG Sinha visited Dardpora, Kupwara, to meet families face-to-face, promising them that their trauma was over and pledging government support for rehabilitation. He directed officials to prioritize pending cases related to terror victims, ensuring no family is left behind in the region's journey towards peace and progress.
Over 250 terror victims have already been provided government jobs, with more applications being processed. The administration is also working with voluntary organizations to rebuild homes destroyed by cross-border shelling. Sinha emphasized that only genuine cases would be supported, not those linked to terrorism.
