Lichtensteig’s new parking permit covers two car parks for 50 francs
Lichtensteig has introduced a new parking permit that covers two car park facilities for a single monthly fee. Starting next month, drivers can use either Gerbestrasse or Oberdeck used cars parks with one pass. The move aims to make parking more flexible for residents and visitors alike.
The updated system replaces separate permits with a combined option costing 50 Swiss francs per month. Holders can park in either location, though no spaces are guaranteed. Existing permits will stay valid until their expiry date, ensuring no immediate disruption for current users.
The 50-franc monthly permit takes effect in the coming weeks. It offers a simpler way to access both car parks without reserving a specific spot. The council expects the update to ease parking pressures in the area.
