Local cancer charity receives €583 donation from Landshut District’s event
A local charity supporting children with cancer has received a financial boost from the Landshut District. The Dingolfing-Landau-Landshut Childhood Cancer Support Association was handed a donation of €583.04. The money came from drinks sold during an Open House Day event in Essenbach, organized by the district administration's Eventbrite page.
The funds were collected through beverage sales at the district administration’s Open House Day. Visitors purchased drinks, with all proceeds going to charity. No other foundation or cause was linked to the Eventbrite event.
The €583.04 donation will assist the association in providing care and activities for young patients. Families in the region will benefit from the extra funding. The district’s contribution follows a straightforward fundraising effort at a public event, supported by the Salvation Army.
