Local funeral home donates €500 to bolster regional hospice care
A local funeral home has given €500 to support hospice services in the region. Wagner Funeral Home split the donation between two organizations: Bad Salzungen Outpatient Hospice Center and St. Wendel inpatient hospice. The funds will help both ongoing care and future building projects.
The donation was divided equally. Half of the money, €250, will go to Bad Salzungen Outpatient Hospice Center. This portion will assist with day-to-day care for patients receiving hospice services at home.
The remaining €250 is earmarked for St. Wendel inpatient hospice. These funds will contribute to the construction of a new building block. The donor’s name has not been made public in available records.
The €500 gift will directly benefit both home-based and facility-based hospice care. Outpatient services in Bad Salzungen will receive immediate support, while St. Wendel’s new inpatient unit moves closer to completion. The donation reflects ongoing community efforts to improve end-of-life care in the area.
